Has anyone else having paint issues. The rear bumper where it meets the car body has a paint chip and peal issue on my yellow. dealership is being wonderful about it but i have to give up my BeBe for the paint fix for 3 days

Second one that i know of..

This has been an issue for the Camaro. I believe there is a TSB out. I believe the dealership should know this. I believe they figured out how to put a spacer in the bumper somehow, not sure. I have to have mine done in the spring.

i got a few rock chips on the bumper, now the hood :(

Have you taken it to your dealer they fixed mine up in 4 days, no more problems sense.

Originally it was to be 3 but they took an extra day

Yes. I had it done. My car was Rally Yellow also. The dealer broke some of the tabs on the bumper cover when he pulled it off to paint it, so I ended up getting a whole new bumper cover out of the deal.

When you pop the trunk up top, in back of the tailights there are two plastic push-pins. Push pin furthest back gets replaced with a j-nut and a bolt on each side. This hard locates the bumper cover so it doesn't rub against the quarter panel.

I put some door guards on last night, and I immediately noticed the paint peeling off around the inside of the door edge as I slipped the rubber piece onto the door.

I mean it peeled off so easily in a single sheet, scares the hell out of me for the future of this particular car's paint job.

Ours had the back bumper repainted. Kind of a PITA, but it looks good as new again.

Is it the two panels directly touching, and one happens to shifts a little, which peals the paint?

I took it to the dealer and they have to call a gm rep to come look at it. The problem is im only here for about another week so i have to wait until i get back to texas.

Is it possible this only happens on the solid colors (BLK, SW, VR, and RY)?

I don't think anyone has mentioned this about the metallics, except rock chips.
