Started modifying my engine cover. - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Just subtle things so far. 3 hours, 4 bucks. The cover has been cut and Im gonna replace the center piece with a nice open handmade aluminum piece.

Thanx, I really like the heavy industrial looking stuff so Imma carry it over into the car. Im just mocking up 2 or 3 designs for the center bit.

Just allen bolts. For the mesh I didnt want that chicken wire crap that everyone uses on their bodykits etc, I think it looks cheap and like a cop out. The inserts were.............................................. ..old speaker grill material from 6.5" midbass subs, anything will work 6x9 covers etc. The hardest part was making the openings all look the same. I also cut all the edges symmetrical around the silver because I have an OCD with visual balance.
