MRR M228 Wheels

I know several people have these wheels. I have searched the forum and read numerous threads but can't find a consistent answer. I want the 10" fronts and 11" rear wheels. Phastek has a staggered set with +23 front and +43 rear for sale. They recommend 275/35-20 rorschach the front and 305/35-20 rear. Is anybody running this setup? I have stock suspension. I also remember reading somewhere that you have to have different length lugnuts for front and rear for some reason? Any help would be appreciated. I have the wheels in my cart but have been hesitant to pull the trigger.

I just ordered the Gunmetal MRR M017. Same size and staggered set up . Had the same questions lol. The offset is the same as the same as the stock ZL1 and 1LE so fittment should be fine. The tires I as told to go with are the rront 285/35-20 rear 305/35-20. Yes you do have to go with the acorn style lug nuts , the stocks will not work. I went ahead and ordered the Gorilla lug nut set, and 1LE center caps. Got mine all from Phastek as well. THey were very quick to fill and ship. Mine are already on the way after ordering Friday lol.
As a matter of fact , 1JEWLDSSRS used to have the exact set up your looking at. He will have a lot of helpful insight as he did with me.

There is another thread close by discussing this and as said you will be fine. In the other thread Phastek posted a discount code of “Welcome5”. Might help save you a couple of bucks.
Good luck! Those wheels will look great!

I would go at least 285/35 on front, I had 275's on my 10 inch MRR 017and they looked stretched to me , I went with 295/35 , 315/35 and i am lowered with no issues

Thanks for the mention brother! I appreciate it. I'm here to help in any way I can. Done all sorts of mods to my Camaro over the last 12 years, learned a lot too, so I share..

Thanks for the input, Gentlemen. I think I'm sold on the purchase. I have a set of the 21" performance wheels that I had custom powder coated blck and green to match my Synergy Green but the tires were over $3000 and for that money I can get a full set of 20" wheels and tires.

Yep. I have the setup you described and run 285/35 front and 315/35 rear. All good.
