She got hit....again.

Hi Everyone,

I made a topic a few months back when I got sideswiped parked at a light. Now while eating inside during my lunch break at work my car got hit parked in the parking lot

Unfortunately now I would not want to claim this on my insurance since this would be 'another' accident within a short period of time. Anyone know how much something like this would run to get fixed?

BTW yes the car is dirty, its rained for like a week straight here in Arizona and this is my daily driver

If neither of these accidents were your fault then you shouldn't have to worry about your insurance going up. Personally, I would file a claim with the insurance company. That's why you have it.

Yah, isn't AZ interesting to "drive" in. I got hit twice in my 1st year here, both times sitting still - one time at a red light (4 others involved from a nut rear ending us all) and the other time waiting to pull out from a parking lot (guy thought it would be a good idea to back up to allow a bicycle to come across the sidewalk - and no, he didn't look first). Been here over 4 now and haven't been hit again but the way people tailgate in the PHX area, and generally don't pay attention - makes me real antsy out in my Camaro.

your insurance shouldn't have to pay anything, the person who hit your car should be paying for it to get fixed. Thats what their liability insurance is for

Thats a cheap repair, they can patch up and spot in the damaged area and reclear the whole panel.

Go to a body shop and get an estimate.

I got friends that would fix that for around $300 if I took the fascia off myself.

Oh! I'm so sorry...I had a car like that one time...it seemed to be a magnet for dumbasses. I know it's unfair, but I'm with you...I wouldn't claim it on insurance unless it turns out to be more expensive than it looks, because unfortunately, fault or not...they might raise your rates, or make it harder to switch if it becomes necessary. It looks like you should be able to get it fixed for about what your deductible would have been anyway (assuming a $500 deductible). Again...good luck...and I hope you don't have to buy stock in Camaro bandaids.
