Driver side headlight not working properly
My driver side headlight is shutting off before my passenger side when I lock the door. I have the hid halo stock headlight. Has anyone had this problem before?

Is this on hi beam or low beam?

It don’t come easy.

Not sure if there are capacitors involved with the lighting but, being as they hold a charge for a short duration, it could be one of the lights capacitors failed. So, when the lights switch off, the one with the faulty capacitor would shutdown immediately. No clue if this is the case, just putting it out there.

It’s on low. It’s when I unlock the car, and the lights come on for the 30 seconds or so. The driver side will turn off about a second before the passenger side. If I can upload a video of it I will.

Not much on the low beam side to trigger them separately. They are fed by the same relay. It has to be a difference in the ballast. Maybe one is starting to fail and I could see a bad ground causing some issues.

It would help to cut that down to just the section of it cutting off since you can't rewind or jump ahead, but I don't see anything really wrong. The ballast probably have transformers that might be discharging at slightly different rates.

The function of the ballast must have changed as it got older.
