Charleston, SC Meet and Greet Calling all SE members!
Michael's Maro, Tibbs-86, and I have been discussing this for a while now, and it is going to happen.
Open to anyone who's going to be in the area, or who wants to make the drive to enjoy some of the lowcountry's finest February 27, 2010. 10:00 am Meeting up at the Air Force Base, followed by a short base tour, then a cruise into downtown Charleston for some photo ops followed by a cruise over the Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge (the longest cable-stayed bridge in the western hemisphere) to the USS Yorktown and Fort Moultrie. We are even looking at a 2-day event with the charleston tours on saturday and a dyno day on sunday. A few things are still in work, but will be figured out in the next week or so. I will be making a full map of the cruise routes so that during the cruise, if you get separated from the main group, you'll know where to reconvene. Also, we are looking to set up a police escort for the cruise downtown and over the bridge. Lunch reservations have been made in downtown Charleston and lunch will be sponsored!!! more info to come! Post up in here or PM me or Michael's Maro for details. ***Edit*** If you have any possibility of attending, pm me your full name and the names of any friends/family coming with you at least 10 days prior so I can get you registered to have access on the Air Base. If I do not have your name before the meet, it will be very hard to get you on the base. I'd rather have everyone listed to be able to come and them not show, than not have them listed and have them show and have to deal with that. Also, any persons over the age of 16 will need a photo ID with them when they arrive at the base. (SC law) even if you arent sure that you will make it, I still need everything in place BEFORE the meet. I will be pm'ing my phone number to everyone once I've got a final tally and I'll be adding members to this post as they sign up/pm me. 1. CamaroSpike23 2. Michael's Maro 3. Tibbs-86 4. scottcolem 5. even if you cant bring your own car, if you can get down here, we'll have plenty of others for you to ride with
we've got some extra things planned that I cant go into too much detail about, but it will definitely be worth your while pm me his name. I probably know him.

around 9-10 or so in the morning. Michael and I discussed the fact that a few members would be driving from farther away which is partially why we've thrown in the possibility of a dyno day on sunday. No sense driving all the way to Charleston, just to drive back later, come stay the night and hang out all weekend. Not to mention we've got some possible night activities depending on the amount of people we get involved. which reminds me..... If you plan to make it for the meet, PM me your full name along with the names of any passengers you might be bringing with you. Even if you are still up in the air about it, PM me. I need a full list of everyone before the meet so I can get everyone visitor passes for the base.
