I use my camaro as an XBOX game controller for VR sim racing
Hi everyone on the forum!
Long time no see! I hope everyone's doing well. I've been diving into car simulation games (Forza, Assetto Corsa, BeamNG, ...). I was getting tired of playing with a gamepad, and I didn't want to spend money on buying a gaming wheel and pedals when I already had all that in my garage!  So, I did some tinkering, and now I can race my Camaro on the track without even leaving my garage! Accidents don't cost me anything, and I can even drive completely drunk   Here's a glimpse of what it looks like: For the technical explanations (reverse engineering on the CAN bus and everything else), I've put everything on GitHub: https://github.com/psykokwak-com/camarogamepad Anyway, we're having fun however we can!

I just picked up a Quest 3 myself. Havent messed with it much since buying because works has been crazy but im gonna look into this setup!
