GM Hurst Shifter vs Hurst Shifter???

What is going to be the difference between the Hurst shifter that you can buy now and the one that I have heard is going to be offered through the dealership when ordering your Camaro?

We were told at the B&M/Hurst cruise what was being redone but I'm not 100% sure now. I think the bushings were different.

It should look just like the one that is available now. The throw is great! Very well built.

I don't know for sure, but there are threads already on it if you're interested. I recall reading that the one that the one offered by GM will cost more and have a smaller throw reduction (meaning not as good). Like I said, not positive though.

I am going with the actual Hurst shifter(not the GM model) as it has a shorter throw.

Love my hurst shifter! A little more noise transmits to the cockpit from the tranny when you get on it but IMHO it sounds great!
