CYLINDER DEACTIVATION CEL CODES
HELP WANTED.
Got the codes for the Cylinder Deactivation Solenoids; P3401, P3425, 3441, 3449 and with them a lean condition as when these codes occur the injectors to the cylinders shut off. Also noting a MAF sensor code P0102 but not sure if its related to AFM at all. All are described as being part of the cylinder deactivation system with each code corresponding to a different AFM cylinder. Has anybody ever changed the valley cover with solenoids and fixed the problem? Where should I go from here? New to a car with the AFM system so its a bit beyond me at this point. Anybody with superior knowledge on this would be very much appreciated because I don't even know where to start. Only mods are BBK LTs and a K&N air intake. -Kevin |

Check fuse 14 (7.5a) in the underhood fuse box see if its blown, If it is disconnect the MAF and put a new fuse in and see if it blows. You can do this with other components too, FPCM, MAF/IAT, VLOM assembly(L99), Reverse inhibit solenoid, VSS, Skip shift solenoid actuator. All these components are fed by this fuse, Don't know if you are stick or auto. If it still blows your gonna have to chase for a short in the pink wire for all these components. GL
