2010 worth 19.5k help needed :)

So my cousin is close to buying his first 5th Gen Camaro. It’s a black 2 ss manual trans with 89k miles. Has upgrades including full Hotchkis suspension, factory ZL1 wheels, upgraded front ZL1 brakes, better Radiator, k&n cai. Seems solid and well built/kept.

Cons to me.. car fax shows minor rear end damage but it’s been fixed. Several resprays to fix minor scratches here and there. Owner is a car guy and did all mods himself.

Asking 19k $ Good price or not!!????

Slightly high imo if it was in an accident. If he's comfortable at 19.5 then send it. I'll ask for money off still of course.

For that car, I think that's fair. I'd have a mechanic give it a look over first though.

Run the specs through KBB. It doesn't account for the add-ons of course, but it's a good place to start.

As a "Car Guy" previous owner should have pictures of the damage to the rear end. Is this a bumper replacement, or quarter panel repair/structural repair?

It does seem a little high to me especially with minor rear end damage that was repaired. The upgrades are nice, but they say you don't always get what you want out of it when you go to sell.

It sounds like it's a bit tired. I would be happy to get $20,000 for my untouched stock
'10 2SS with absolutely every option available when I bought it new. 73,000 miles and
no bo bo's. Original owner, not for sale

seems a bit high to me especially without a clean car fax.

I would shop around. It might be decent but with persistence you could find one in as good or better condition.

Should check out this case study on KBB pricing, https://carflock.com/article/kbb-fair-purchase-price. Since reading it I've become more skeptical of the data they give.
