That was a long video. I had to come back to it later. It was good.

First thing on my mind was price
https://www.bmwusa.com/build-your-ow...u4xzw9/options
I was happy they did a full exploration of that topic as it relates to track driving at the end of the video but they didn't say exactly how much that BMW cost. I'd say about $100,000+ looking at the website. When you go to buy those they have those 1k 5k 8k 14k options stacked onto the $80k base price. On the Tesla they didn't mention has few if any options, color choice for 800bucks sometimes. No dealer markups and bs things on the contract.
I also like how they said 1 in 20 buyers would ever track the car ONE time. So that in reality is not how you should choose a street car. In a short comment that was important he said how even the fantastic BMW wasn't thrilling to drive on a back road fast. (They did such a good job it does not have drama to go too fast and very unsafe on public streets with traffic).
It comes down to Apple car play I agree but have found the Tesla voice activated navigation quite good as they said and spotify to sooth my initial dismay of it being missing. He also failed to mention tax credits that are a big thing when buying a cheaper Tesla, but less of a thing on someone splashing cash for $100k. With equal tires on both the times would be close but really who tracks them and who cares?
The main thing I learned on the video is that the Model 3 Performance had real suspension upgrades for 2025 and not just more hp. So is the BMW so nice you would rather have that than two cars a motorcycle or a boat for the same price? Insurance has much of it's rate based on purchase price so that BMW isn't going to be cheap there now that rates have skyrocketed faster than it's track time either.

I see throttlehouse review

but I couldn't stand to watch it all the way through with the repeated complaining of it's track imperfections. It was amateurish compared to the OP video.
