power steering hoses in 2015 v6 auto camaro

anyone else here drive their 2015 camaro in severe cold weather like canadian minus 20 C or colder?

the reason i ask is my power steering low pressure hose seems to pop off every time i use the remote in cold weather
- OR is it just coincidence and sludgey thick grease like oil at -33 causing higher pressures that cause this hose to pop off?

[to be clear, the hose im supposing is low pressure, pops off because i suspect a previous owner was too cheap to replace the leaking low pressure hose and just added in a regular hose and screw clamps, and its this screw clamped connection that keeps popping off near rear part of passenger side radiator , where hose goes around the radiator to oil cooler in front im guessing] theres alot of guessing cuz one cant see much in the front end without dissassembly of front bodywork, something im loathe to do in good weather , let alone lying in the snow in minus20-30 celcius weather

sorry for double posting this but i wanted to eyes on it from peeps with experience in both power steering and remote but dont know how to change a title once thread is started?

The OEM hose pushes on and uses the regular factory spring clamps. Unfortunately, those hoses are no longer available. My guess is the previous owner changed to a worm gear clamp trying to fix the issue you are having or created the issue because he got tired of trying to get the spring clamp on without fancy hose clamp pliers. The nipple on the radiator might just be a fitting, and if it is, you could convert it to 6an and build a new hose. Of course, the nipple on the power steering pump would then become the weak link.

i will take a pic later in daylight but the hose im talking about APPEARS to be a high pressure type factory hose where it joins this pushon screw clamped hose im having trouble with.
-plus the metal hose it pusshes onto seems cut at a slight angle and is sharp and little jagged and has no raised ferrel or hose barb, whatever its called. it just looks hacked off and very easy for a screw clamped hose to slide off with too much pressure or even temporary high pressure surge on startup etc

-would a winter front closing off some or all of air passages help in severe cold weather on these 5th gen camaros? probly wouldnt help on startup but highway speeds it may keep severe windchill from turning oil into sludge.....?

That's the reason its popping because it wasn't fixed properly. If the steel portion was cut off and the hump is gone it can easily come off especially when the fluid is colder and doesn't flow as easy. the return side has very low pressure so clamps are used. High side on the other hand can be up to 1500psi, Also GM has power steering fluid for cold climates #12345867.
