Exhaust cutouts question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Going tomorrow to get my mufflers removed on my ls3 tomorrow. Was torn between leaving the resonators on or removing them as well. Alot of people told me it would sound like crap. Is this true? I've heard tons of videos of exhaust cutouts and it sounds awesome. Wouldn't replacing the mufflers and resonators with straight pipe basically be the same sound? Still not sure what I want to do with the resonators so any help is greatly appreciated.

Leave the mufflers on, add the cutouts when you want loud and rowdy.

Agreed, mine is the one in the QTP video. Ive had since august and the sound is amazing. The looks I get are priceless.
