Z/28 OBD2 PID codes (or how to fully take advantage of Race Chrono)
Hello folks,
you probably noticed that I like to do video overlays of my track days (example below) but the catch is that the standard obd2 codes only offer pretty boring but essential stuff such as Throttle position, rpm, speed and a few other signals. The ECU sends much more than that, more specifically I'm interested into: brake position, steering angle and gear. Drift angle would be cool too. I'm going to try to scan a few codes on my own, but I thought that asking in this forum might also provide some good results Does anyone has an idea of which custom PID are used by the Z/28 ? or any reference to where I can find them? example of video overlay made with RaceChrono Pro

In the meantime I've found some forum posts for the c6 z06:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...es-for-c6.html https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...dii-codes.html edit: further searches lead me to think the z28 ECU has Can Bus protocol. I'll try to enable it tomorrow in Race Chrono pro and see if it reads the additional channels
