Looking for the the best forged long block

I'm looking for the best priced forged long block for a 2010 SS... I will be running it on the street as a Daily driver as long as weather is good then 6 months down the road putting a S/C on it. So I would need it built to last. I dont want to run anymore than 14-16 lbs of boost.

416-418 CI if I could get a price on a std stroke and STD bore forged short block as well..
9.5-9.7:1 CR
Steel top ring for boost

ported heads
complete vavle train to match whatever cam we decide (the bigger the better for me) lol
Stainless valves

Injectors

I will supply my own headers, intake, and TB.

I recently purchased the January 2010 GM High Tech Performance Magazine at my local book store. In the magazine is several advertisers (of course) that offer a variety of cylinder heads / services, short blocks, long blocks, cam/valvetrain kits.

I am going to list for you a couple of websites I have been looking at from the magazine ads along with some I stumbled upon when using the Google Search bar for "Camaro Performane Mods". Hope these listings help you out. I know I haved enjoyed looking them over just seeing what all is out there to make ALL of our Camaros even better than they already are.

Kilo-9,

Good suggestion. I looked at their website. Definitely got the goods there for our 2010 Camaros.

USCG,

Make it a point to check that one out.

I have and I love their prices too... They kind of have a one stop shop feel to them with them porting their own heads, building their out short blocks and making their own exhaust system. One thing that hold me back with them is they are so far away...lol... Not to big of an issue though I can either have them ship or me drive there and leave my car for a wk or so..

I have called every shop available trying to find the right shop to do my build. Jason at Texas-Speed was my final choice as they have awesome pricing but just as important, they know what they are doing. My car is heading to him this week for my 418ci build.

i would check out schwanke engines, i got my stroker kit parts from them, along with several tech phone calls that they were happy to help with during the building of my LS3 block, and great prices.

I can do the install myself but when it comes to building these I'll leave it up to the pros... How are the ported heads they sell compaired to other vendors? Do they offer different dish pistons for CR changes?

To be 100% honest I'm surprised that not a single vendor has spoke up and said anyting about their products... Kinda strange if u ask me.. I guess everyone has enough business to last them.
