Wind Restrictor

Does anyone have any experience with the light up wind restrictors for your convertible? There appears to be a number of ways to power the illumination. Are you satisfied with the product?

Had mine for8 years now, with no issues, easy install. Hardest part was getting under the dash to wire it up, I have it to come on with headlights. It does not work in reducing wind but looks good when lit up.

Did not want to just clip into a wire in that bundle under the dash. Like you said, was incredibly difficult to see let alone try to perform that operation. Ended up having to add some wire and connect in the fuse box. How fast you feel safe driving with the top down on that? Having trouble getting my picture added for some reason.
I think I got it to attach now.

Looks good….as fast as you want, just make sure the light strip on bottom is well attached….

When I bought mine I got the battery holder and just use a 9-volt to power it. Works fine for me, just change out the battery when needed. In the battery holder is a slide switch to power it off so doesn't draw any power unless I use it. I also wired in a toggle switch in the trunk to switch it on to show mode.
