THROTTLE BODY UPGRADE NEED SUGGESTIONS
Was wondering if anybody out there with a whipple set up has upgraded their throttle body? I contacted whipple and they said they suggest to look into nick williams or Katech.. was wondering if anybody has any positive experiences with these or any other throttle bodies? I’m looking to get a 102mm/103mm whichever one I find and was also looking to see if it will be a direct bolt on to the 2.9L whipple or what I would need if it’s not

Nick Williams makes a 103 for boosted applications, just make sure you are buying a legit one from a reputable source. Whipple makes an adapter and gaskets for the larger throttle body, you can order directly from them.
What kind of horsepower are you aiming for? My ported stock throttle body didn't become a limiting factor until I was around 760 at the wheels. Keep in mind, you will also need a fresh tune, so it's always a good time to do any other mods you are considering. Sent from my Pixel 8 Pro using Tapatalk

Both Nick Williams and Katech are reputable places to get throttle bodies from. Reach out to Bo White here if he doesn't chime in as many of us have his ported throttle bodies on our Camaros. He can definitely point you in the right direction without a shadow of a doubt.

My friend has a built ZL1 with a 2650 and hes gone through two NW102s. The electronics went bad in both. Ended up going with the new Kong 112. Id pick Katech over NW.
