Limited Slip Differential question
Does the 2SS have the clutch type or the gear type limited slip differential? I had a mustang years ago that I had to replace the clutch pack in the rear 3 times before I traded it. I also had a 99 Trans Am that has the gear type locking diff. What does the Camaro have?

It's a clutch type. A locker type would handle like crap. The are mostly putt on trucks and 4x4's.

Thanks. Hopefully, the ones now days are of a better design. I wonder if they will last the life of the car?
