Need Help with WHOOO sound

I have a 2015 cammed with headers and six speed manual. I am starting to get a weird WHOOO sound when its at idle. Sounds like its coming from center of the car around transmission area maybe. You have to put your ear at the firewall to hear it with hood opened and you can hear it sitting in car at idle. If you stick your head in the back seat its hard to hear. When you increase rpm it goes away. Pushing in clutch pedal does nothing to change the sound. Does not make it when driving as far as I can tell. I can't figure out what the hell is causing it, not sure if its something to do with clutch or tranmission bearings. Has anybody ever experienced this or know what the hell is causing it?

Usually when I hear a whooo sound,it's going whoo, whoo, whoo and he makes me pull over. Sorry, just trying to lighten the mood. I would've mentioned clutch, but it sounds like you tried it.

I know, the whoo is a little weird but that is what it sounds like.

Does it do it when the engine is cold compared to fully warmed up?
Have you seen if it's the HVAC fan for the cabin? Mine makes a quiet noise.

Another thing to check is your air intake system, or intake manifold for a vacuum leak. My Camaro never did this sound, but my Mustang did when I had a leak in the back of it. It was worse when it was cold, and when it warmed up it lightened up a bit, but was still there. Good luck.

I am starting to think it is just exhaust drone. I have the npp disconnected but I looked inside the mufflers and I can see the packing inside the muffler on the quiet side. I think the muffler is screwed up inside and its starting do just drone at idle.

Could there be a hole in the pipes, or looseconnector showing air leak? That could account for the whoo sound, kinda like a whistle.
