Alternator - Rear Battery Connector (?) - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hello all, had a question about the alternator on these things. On the back end there's a stud that I guess the "battery charger" connects to, and there's supposed to be a nut on the back of it. However it appears that the nut on the back of mine has fallen off and I am now getting the "Service Battery Charging System" warning on the dash. Just wondering if anyone knows if I can just buy the one nut or if I'd need to buy a kit for it and where would I be able to get it? Autozone/O'Reillys don't seem to have it.

You will just have to use a regular nut or find a patient Auto Parst Store that will let you rob one off a core.
