Anyone else enjoying their blown Camaro in the cool fall air?
It’s been kind of quiet around here lately. Just wondering if anyone else is loving their blown Camaro in this cold fall air?!
I’m always amazed at how much power comes along with the dense oxygen rich fall air in the 35-45 degree range. Feels like someone threw a nitrous switch into the car or made it a 1000 cubic inch engine.. I’ve got a forged built motor with cam, heads, E85, and Kenne Bell pushing 12 psi at it. 1st - 3rd gears are almost useless and it’s so damn fun to lay some rubber down anytime I wish up to 70 mph. I’m still amazed at 2 things when it comes to this car: #1 Incredible how much E85 adds to the power and #2 Even more amazed at how cold dense atmospheric air in the fall adds to the power. If only I could try this thing out on a -10 degree day in February here in MN. But the damn insane salt on the roads in winter will never allow it. Anyway…hope there is still some of us loving the 2010 blown LS3 platform still. Cheers! |

Yes, just come out of winter and had that ! Now heading summer but still feel.that power !

I don't know anything about California, I'm in New York. Not looking forward to winter. My interchiller keeps my car in winter all summer long.

My "cool" air temp this morning was 68 which is a big improvement over 98/100. My car is definitely loving it.
Such a double edge sword though. Cool weather the car loves but tires dont.
