The Family Tree

A friend of a neighbor and a real nice guy came by the other day to take a look at my ’10 and to show me his ’69. So no I am not claiming to own both. Man wouldn't that be nice.

I didn’t have to look out the window to see if he had arrived. All I had to do was to listen. I heard him coming from around the corner. His Camaro is a beast and is immaculate. A crate 502, lowered suspension, beautiful paint, all kinds of customization including a growling exhaust. I thought I would share some pics of my new kid's long lost older brother.

502 + Convertable = Holy crap!

I hope that chassis has been reinforced.

As nice as he was I don't think he's going to loan it out. When he took off, he hit it (just a little bit I bet) and I couldn't stop smiling because of the exhaust and the tire's chirping. I smiled more when the neighbors and their kids came out to see what the heck was going on and what the old men were up to.

Oh my goodness, that is just beautiful, just plain beautiful!

I hope you got his contact info so you can keep in touch and include him or include yourself for that matter in some meet and greets and/or cruise-in's.

Makes me miss my 67SS so much!!!

Isn't Boerne just up the road a few miles from SA? While hubby was stationed at Fort Sam back in 1999/2000 we lived just off FM3009 in Schertz. I've heard that area, which used to be just a lot of farm land, is just growing like crazy. What's going on up in Boerne?

First and most important, thanks to you and the hubby for serving Our Country.

Yup Boerne is a few miles out from SA and yes Shertz is getting super huge. It won't be long where SA north to Shertz...New Braunfels...San Marcos and on up to Austin is one big contiguous set of cities.

GM did an amazing job with the gen 5. It looks as good as a first gen, which to me, is one of the best looking cars ever made. Many thanks to Sunyap Lee and Al Oppenheiser and F-bodyfather and everyone else that was part of the triumphant return of the beast.
Both of these cars are beautiful.

I've been behind that guy a few times heading over to Biff's. I especially like the personalized license plate.

Tell him he should bring it over to T.G.I. Friday's this Friday I know it may be a bit of a drive from Boerne for you, but it's where all the San Antonio C5'ers are meeting now
