Plug wires with headers

Installing 2” long tube headers. 10” or 12 wires with heat shields to insure foo clearance ?

Stock wire will be fine, unless you want to go aftermarket for any reason, most of use the Taylor 409's on our builds, just to add some color under the hood..

Stock is fine. I did GM performance wires with fiberglass insulation boots for extra protection.

Yeah the 409's I bought were red to go with my under hood theme. Ya can't see them, but they are there!

What brand 2” LT headers did you go with? I had a friend 5-6+ yrs ago, run the older Speed Engineering ones, and they needed to be dimpled in a bit on both the driver and passenger side primaries.

I once saw someone with Texas Speed ones fit perfectly fine somehow. I think it MAYBE contacted both sides on VERY hard turns on track days and would vibrate/rattle against the steering shaft and frame on the passenger side, in the engine bay.

Had I got 2” inch long tubes though, I probably would’ve just kept the bone stock catback exhaust from my LS3…

Speed engineering headers. Used them on my last 2010 with no issues
