My local track is holding a 3-day event coming up mid Feb. I've been to the track once. Looking to get into this one. Im still N/A. Running about 500 HP. I don't have the power to get into the “Better” classes. Im running Nitto NT 555R2’s on the back. 315/35/20.

The class is “Small Tire” only. 28x10.5. I apologize for my ignorance, but I’m new to this. My tires are 35 sidewall. 35>28. Does that disqualify me for this class? Wanna make sure I’m in the right class. Thank You for any help. Much appreciated.

28" is the overall height of the tire. not side wall. your tire is a 28.4"x12.5" so you probably need a different tire.

i have a question? did you beat that SRT4? when i was in my early 20's i had a built engine turbo, nitrous 98 neon coupe. car was fun. 12lb boost for 280 whp.

Sadly, I did not. Although in my defense I was running extremely bald Continental Extreme Contacts, and it was my first ever time at the track. Never having experienced it before, I thought "I'm at a track, that's what tracks do." So I floored it. And sat there spinning. I was reeling him in good by the end, but the damage was done. My record is a whopping 0-1. That's when I bought the Nitto's, and said: Next time will be different. lol.

Here's some cool info for you, the only thing it mentions for "small tire" is the tire diameter. Also the tread size can't be any wider than 10.5, which is the size of a standard 275 DR.. your 315's will be too wide. Good luck, and have fun!!
