Exhaust tips with a GFX kit

I've come across a Corsa axle-back set for a reasonable price. Problem is it's the one with 4" tips. When you look at Corsa's site, they show one with 3.5" tips for those of us with GFX kits. Looking at the ports and measuring, it's clear why they do that. Obviously I can mod, but not looking to be too invasive. And I could just cut off the tips, sell them, and do different tips. So, I'm debating best route and whether it's worth it. Like to hear from anyone who's modded the GFX kit to accept 4" tips in a minimally invasive fashion. Like to see what you came up with. Simply removing the stainless rings and leaving the plastic isn't something I want to do either.
