Swap dashboard and HUD from 14-15 in 13 Camaro
Greetings everyone!
American isn't my native language, and I'm having trouble finding the information I need on your forum. Could anyone please tell me if anyone has experience installing a facelift dashboard and head-up display in a pre-facelift model? I'm thinking of taking the dashboard and head-up display from a 2014-2015 Camaro and installing it in a 2013 Camaro. I'm sure someone has done this before and even posted on this forum, but I can't find the information. Please let me know if anyone knows anything or can provide a link to a thread. Is this procedure complicated and what might be required? Thanks! |

I wanted to do that on my former 2011 2LT Camaro while it was under warranty when it crapped out... the dealer said their warranty dept would not allow me to upgrade to the color version HUD and therefore I would have to pay out of pocket etc... fast forward... I currently have a 2011 HUD installed on my current 2010 2LT by the former owner of my Camaro.. so far so good....

The dashboard is the exact same from 13/14/15. If the car has a factory HUD its plug and play with color. Same with the information center. The only thing is i dont believe the G meter will work.
