RS Headlight stopped working

RS Package.

Go out to the car today and I discover the passenger side headlight stopped working. I had a spare set of bulbs in the house, figured the bulb went dead, put it in, no dice. So I took the OEM bulb, put the passenger in the driver, driver in the passenger, well driver worked, passenger didnt.

So the bulbs are good, halos work. So what now? I guess I gotta take it to the dealer. But does anyone else have any suggestions? 548 miles on the car.

Update:

took it to the dealer today, they said it was a bad headlight unit, so they had to order a whole headlight assembly..

Wow. You are one seriously prepared person. You had a spare bulb laying around? I don't even have fresh milk.

I'd take it to the dealer. At least get it documented.

That's what warranties are for. Let the dealer fix it.

since it follows the side rather than the bulb id say a connection issue, possible contraction of the cable due to the cold weather, a connector came loose, or just a bad light unit itself, let us know how much it would have cost if you didnt have a warranty

Where do you even get a replacement HID bulb from anyway? Are the HID bulbs covered under warranty (since I have never seen one on sale at an auto parts store) or are they like all other bulbs?
