Any Nitro R/C junkies out there? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey all

I like to goof around with my nitro R/c when i'm not workin' on other motorized things. I have a Traxxas Jato 3.3 and I am wondering if there's anyone out there that's into this stuff too that has seen a 2010 camaro body for them?

any 1/10 scale body should do, I'd like to paint it to match me car as well!

I was when I had money, but I never got into the cars. Mine all had wings. I seemed to have a talent for flying them into the ground

haha yeah I can see how that'd get expensive pretty quick.

I've had my Jato up around 60 mph. I actually put paddle tires on the back and do some snow skimmin' in the winter haha I think it'd look deadly with a 5th gen body on it

my husband has the revo and mini revo plus the summit. He has electrics I run the nitro's. When we have time, it's an expensive but fun hobby.

I have ten plus cars, both on-road and off-road. R/C is my addiction, now replaced by my Camaro.

I'm a brushless addict! I built a fastlane full aluminum chassis stampede a few months back and it rips. Lipo batteries are awesome compared to the trouble of the nitro cars. I love em.

i tried some electrics but I just cant get into it haha

I need explosions and fuel. i love tearing down the engine and porting/polishing the sleeve and crank.

I used to be a big r/c guy, but havent used my vehicles for a couple of years now.

I have a traxxas revo, hpi rs4 pro-2, and a hpi rs4 3SS.

At one time i had 6 or 7 vehicles but sold most of them. I had the most fun with my hpi rs4 mt. Nitro is fun, but i think if i do get back into it im going brushless.

I'm off and on with this hobby. It's just so expensive! But I've owned the following through out the years:

Savage Flux
Savage X 5.9
Savage S25
LST
LST2
Losi Crawlers
Revo's

I buy them, hop them up, break them, sell em' cheap. With spring time around the corner it's almost time to buy a new one. The Savage Flux was the greatest one ever made so far. That thing was insane!!!!

so has anyone seen a gen5 body in 1/10 scale?

I think you could probably make this one LOOK pretty close

Nitro helis here. Used to do the cars, but there is so much more challenge in the helis.
