Alignment shop
I'm going to put some Springs and Sway Bars on my car shortly after I get it. Can anyone recommend a good place to have it aligned afterwards? Hopefully in the North Flower Mound, Keller, South Ft. Worth area?

I heard ADM installs springs. Surely Andy will know someone to send it to. I might have to give him a call. I was just hoping someone would chime in so I wouldn't have to bug him.
I'll probably ask the dealer when I pick up the car just to see. My guess is they'll be to much but you never know.

I didn't think to do this but next time I will.....call up Momentum Autosports in Lewisville. Either they can do it or they will know of someone good who will. They do road racing so alignments are key for them.

Thanks caverman... Did you have an issue with your alignment? Where'd you end up getting it done?

No issue really. I installed lowering springs and the first guy that aligned didn't really "tune" the bushings. He said he pushed around the car a little but if you don't loosen all the bushing bolts beforehand it doesn't really make a difference.
I always felt that the car was just a little bouncier than it should be so when I put 20x9 wheels on the front I figured it was a good excuse to align it again and have the bushings "tuned" the right way this time. Found a guy in dallas called Dallas Alignment. Small little shop but the guy seemed pretty nice. He initially quoted me $140 to loosen everything up, bounce it, retighten, and align. I watched him loosen all the points like the first guy didn't....he bounced the car around while things were loosened up. The only real problem was tht his alignment machine was the old style and because the Camaro is lowered and has a low front spoiler the beams for the machine couldn't see each other. So, he had to do the toe (I believe it was the toe) by hand using a toe bar. He ended up only charging me $100 cash and I definatley think it took some of the bounce out of it. It's still has a little but it did from the factory as well. Because of the lack of the proper machine I don't know that I go to him unless you had to. That's why I recommend that you call Momentum and see if they can do it or who they use to do theirs. If you don't have to worry about "tuning" your bushings because your car isn't lowered the first guy I used in Denton would be just fine. He was like $80 and had the new style alignment machine. Not sure how far Denton is for you but I used Bobby Gentry's shop.
