Alignment, Corner balance in SF Bay Area?
Hi,
Just some advance planning. I was wondering if someone can recommend a good shop in the San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay would be great1) to get a 4 wheel alignment and to corner balance the car after the coilovers are installed. Thanks for any information! |

Bay Area Alignment
I've used Custom Alignment in Mountain View on my Vette, excellent work.

Hey Greg! Nice to see you posting again.
I took my car to Firestoneright off 92 at El Camino. It's the huge blue titled building. They do good work and don't gouge for pricing. As for the East bay, I'm not quite sure. I know that there was a shop in Fremont that did a lot of collision work/repairs and paint jobs. I'd hve to search for them, but they have painted blackouts on the new camaro rear panels and advertised it. They do good work. |

Thanks all for the replies. Ended up going to Motorsport Techniques in Hayward. Just got a good four wheel alignment, and will see how things are. I have numerous people say that for a street driven car, corner balancing was not necessary. Hey Mindz...how's it going?

Here is a great shop:
Roger Kraus Racing Ent., Inc. 2896 Grove Way Castro Valley, CA 94546-6712 Toll Free: (510) 582-5031 Toll Free: (800) 510-7223 Now corner balancing is pricy and should be the last thing you do after a complete system upgrade. It also will require adjustable sway bar end links. mike dms |

Hey Greg/Saving41,
When did you finally get your car? I remember way back with the whole issue with Putnam and that they were to come through for you but at the time you couldn't discuss. But glad to see you are here and enjoying your car. MJ |

I take my SRT4 with full suspension mods (adjustable coilovers, race sway bars, poly urethane bushings, strut bars, & performance control arms) to Les Schwab in San Carlos and pay $79.99.

Don't mess around, go across the bay to Custom Alignment in Mt. View. They do all our Ferrari work and bar none they are the best. Joe is a Ford lover but don't hold that against him, he is total performance suspension oriented. I got them to be a Pedders dealer and will soon (I hope) get the Track system under my SS. Tell them your a friend or customer of Cavallino.

Bridges in Burlingame on the corner of California Dr. and Carmelita . Right off the 101 and Broadway Burlingame exit. They are family owned and operated for at least 40 years that I know of .
