Reverse gear location - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Looking through a Camaro V6 owners manual I downloaded. It states that reverse on the V6's is to the left of 1st & 2nd gear? To the right of 5th & 6th on the V8's. I thought it was to the right (by 5th-6th gears) on both? Can anyone verify this for me? Thanks

Yes that is correct. It is odd, but it seems to work okay. "MY" only problem is that HURST is not making a Shifter Ball with this pattern on it. I REALLY want this for my Camaro and I hope that someday I'll have it.

Wow, I was hoping it was a mis print. No big I guess. I got the Hurst as well. Have you emailed them or anything about a knob with the correct pattern? What response did you get?
