Camaro Getaway?

Just curious how many of you guys/girls just get away and go take a drive by yourself in the camaro, no friends no wife/girlfriend. Just you and your car!

Sometimes there's so much drama around the group of people I know I just leave and go take a drive into the mountains for no reason. lol

Definitely a few times a week at least. Especially on weekends. Put on the tunes and just go cruising--it's like meditating and going to my zen happy place--with 426 screaming horses around me.

I want to, but after being deployed half the year I don't think it would be a good idea.

When I can drive it (due to weather) I usually am driving alone.

I did this past sunday and caught ten tons of crap for it! My wife went OFF on me for taking the Camaro for a ride with out her. It had been sitting for about 2 months. OPPS... I guess I didn't even think she'd care... or want to go... I guess she did!

With no significant other, I guess it's most of the time. Be rest assured that just because you're alone, doesn't mean you won't attract attention.

If I stop at a Tim Horton's, it takes me at least 15mins to get inside, because I get stopped in the parking lot ALL THE TIME...Gotta Love it

Does taking one or both of my kids with me count? They LOVE just going for a ride to nowhere in the car and I've been more than happy to oblige them on more than one occasion. That's not to say that I just don't "hop in and go" every so often but it's much more rewarding to see the smiles on the kids' faces while doing it.

BTW, the boys are 8 and 11.
