Next round of dealer incentives when?

Anyone have any idea when the next round of dealer incentives will start?

I'm trying to convince myself to ditch my SRT-4 and step it up to this beastly monster. I get the GM supplier discount through work, but I'm assuming I can still take advantage of incentives on top of that?

Also, did most of you pay straight up MSRP + destination cost for your cars (mainly interested in SS1 and SS2 buyer tales)? Any of you able to haggle the dealer down closer to invoice?

Thanks, I hope to join your ranks soon!

NEVER PAY MSRP!

Check out the dealer forum to find someone close to you (or hell, they don't have to be as some will ship, fly you up, etc! haha) that is on the recommended dealers list. They will help you and show YOU discounts available.

Hope I'm not breaking forum rules but hit up camaroscotty. I've seen many stories of happy customers that went through him, so I assume you can't go wrong. Good Luck!

Check out Superior and McCarthy if you are in Johnson County. I see in the local newpaper they are both selling for under MSRP. Destination charges are included in the MSRP. They both say they have over 30 Camaros in stock. Go the the Chevy website and search dealers and you can see their inventory and window stickers.

I had GM Suplier plus the 60 day rebate off my 2LT/RS contact Becky @ Rodgers Chevrolet as for better incentives I would not hold out for anything the car is still very popular.

There will probably not be much in the way of new incentives when the 2011's start rolling off the line this summer. There may be something on 2010's if they have a leftovers.

The preferred pricing (supplier discount) is good if you can combine it with another incentive (i.e. USAA or Pont/Saturn owners). Preferred saves you $767 on a base 2SS, plus a bit off of each option. Some dealers I've talked to are willing to discount $1000 or so off MSRP anyway.

60 day rebate is dead, you can get less than supplier - $1000 if you own a pontiac or Saturn.

Some dealers beat other dealers prices - it's a GREAT WORLD!

I wonder if it's worth waiting until summer then. Though I'm doubting the 2010's will even be marked down much, since there probably won't be many additions to the 2011 models.

Scotty, how often are the incentives updated and changed?

I know incentives just came out but is there a chance that it will be updated around August or September?

Not sure how GM can afford that with the 2011 mustang putting up similar HP numbers for what will probably be a 3kish lower sticker price.

2011 is seeing serious Mustang price increases and I would expect the 2011 Camaro will have some small price increase but we'll just have to wait and see.

-2011 Mustang V-6 Coupe - $22,995
-2011 Mustang GT Coupe - $30,495 (Brembo's are a further $1,695 upgrade)
