Exclamation Cadillac CTS-V Engine cover on Camaro SS??

Does anyone know if a 2006 Cadillac CTS-V LS6 engine cover fits on the LS3/L99 in our Camaros?? I have a friend with one laying around and I figured I can do something custom with it. He lives quite a distant away so I can't try to fit it on before I buy it from him because he has to ship it to me. Someone shed some light on this for me! Thanks

They're not really the same shape, I don't think it would fit

Is it this Cadillac CTS-V Engine cover? If you are trying to fit this on LS3/L99 you will have to fabricate mounting point. Just about anything can be made to fit it`s just a case of ingenuity and how bad you want to make it fit/work.

That's a 09+ CTS-V cover. I would think the 05-07 V covers would fit but not sure until you try. I have a friend with one. Maybe I can see if he'll let me test fit.

I finally got a hold of the engine cover. It was from a 2006 CTS-V. I tried fitting it And no luck with just trowing it on. It would take a lot of cutting and shaping to make it work. Mostly in the back since it is longer then the camaros cover. Just to much work in my oppinion! I'm sure someone with time and patience would make it work.

On another note! I didnt know that's what the 2009 CTS-V cover looked like!! I'm thinking I might like the 2009 CTS-V engine cover since I have mine supercharged. Now just to find one!!
