Fuse Box Cover

So I'm talking to Whitcomb about painting my engine cover and fuse box cover and I was wondering if it;s ok to drive around without the fuse box cover for a couple weeks while it's off being painted. doesnt seem like it'd hurt anything but I just wanted to get more expert opinion on it.

thanks

couple weeks ? you could have the whole car done in that time frame.

Why not just paint it yourself.........
That way it would only be off maybe one day.

I would cover the fuse box with a zip lock bag or something, if it is going to be that long ... It will just help keep some of the crud out until you get the cover back. Just tie or tape the bag on ...

Because I'm having it airbrushed not jut painted a single color.

Thanks to those that suggested the ziplock bag idea.
