Well at least for me maybe, I did know that you could turn the traction controll off, but I did not know that when you hold it down for about 20 seconds or so, it turns all anti-slip stuff off. I thought that was just in the SS but I am very please with turning everything off, and switching into Sport mode. Very very nice.

It's not the same comp mode as in the SS. This only turns off traction control and stabilization ... There is no comp mode in the LT's

Yeh I know that there isn't a competition mode, but that would be cool if there were. But I've my camaro since October and I just found that out yesterday.

Call me old fashion but I started by reading the owners manual

Wait till you have to reset the tire pressure sensors, that took me alot of reading to figure it out.

That was in there? I knew about the Traction Control,but I didn't know about the Stabilitrac.

i thought v6s can only turn traction control off. Does it say in the manual that you can turn off the stabilitrack if you hold for the button for longer?
I used Camaro5 for my Camaro manual

If we can turn stabilitrac off too would be GREAT

From the manual and pertains to all models ...

StabiliTrak comes on automatically
whenever the vehicle is started.
The system should be left on to
help assist with directional control
of the vehicle. If StabiliTrak needs
to be turned off, press and hold the
StabiliTrak/TCS button until the
Traction Control Off light and the
StabiliTrak Off light come on the
instrument panel cluster. If the
system has been turned off, press
and release the StabiliTrak/TCS
button to turn the system back on.

Personally I keep the stabiliTrak on and only turn off the Traction Control . The StabiliTrak will help if you over correct in a bad situation, wich I have had several times due to other drivers doing stupid things. There are some really stupid drivers out there that have no business driving a car ...
