vanity plate
Ok, so i am in a debate with my wife on a vanity plate for my baby...
A little info on the first one, I am a Recruiter for the Air Force, and my last name is really hard to pronounce. So the "military idea" is SGT Z (title and initial, this is what everyone calls me). The second one is from Family Guy, as most probably are here. The term GIGGITY on there. My buddy who has a camaro plans on doing G1GGITY as well, thus giggity giggity when we are cruizin. I know this sounds weird but any imput would help. My wife doesnt want me to tell you which i am leaning towards.... |

I am in the military too and I can tell you that ranks and names on license plates are too cliche. mostly because you already have a base sticker and probably a branch insignia somewhere on your car so having it on the plate is redundant to me.
And personally i never liked seeing names on plates |

DMV won't issue G1GGITY if you have GIGGITY. At least in AZ, they consider the 1 is too easily confused with the I

I went with SGT Z
Even though I've known 3 of them. Two in the military and one I trained for CDL a about 5 yrs ago. GIGGITY is just plain dumb. |

As expressed before, I know a plate such as G1gg1TY in NY would be illegal. Or, I should say, they wouldn't approve it or give it to you in the first place.
Using 1's for I's or 0's for O's is deemed to be too confusing for law enforcement. Plates need to be conspicuous and easily discernible. Also, all plates with a meaning must be free of vulgarity, and you need to explain the meaning of all abbreviations upon request before being issued the plate. Otherwise, I'd make my plate o00oo0oo or i1i1i1ii111i and drive 200 MPH. I'd have voted for SGT Z either way

I don't see a response for neither. I am with the military as well and if you advertise on a plate, you could be a target for haters. Have you thought about something like Z(number of letters in last name) SS? For example:
Z13 SS .......................... Just a thought.

Both are awesome plates! [SGT Z] is not specific enough to be cliche, and [GIGGITY] would be hilarious ~ I vote SGT Z though since it's more unique.
