Changed Order Status, before 3300

I ordered my 1LT Camaro about three weeks ago. Yesterday, I called my dealer to try and add the C&C package (last minute, I know). The guy said that he called to try and get my order changed. Today, the Camaro tracking website updated my car's status to "(3300) Order scheduled for production" "March 1st."

Do any of you know if this is enough time for Chevy to change my order so I'll have the C&C package?

Didn't get it in on time. Dealer said they will get me a leather wheel and shift knob. I'll see if they can install the PDIM/usb port when the car gets in. If I get that, I'll be (even more) happy. Maybe I can even have the steering wheel controls hooked up.

Are there any dealers in the San Francisco bay area that we know add the PDIM to the 1LT and 1SS? I live in San Jose.

why not just reorder a different car?

That's an excellent question. I didn't even consider that. I wasn't going to order the C&C package at first anyway, so I'm just hoping I can get the USB port in there. I feel weird sticking it to the dealer like that. It's all good. I'm going to have a sweet car in about two weeks. The dealer is going to find me a leather wheel and shift knob. If I can buy the PDIM/USB and have the dealer put it in there, it'll be even sweeter.

Excellent. I've been reading the PDIM/USB posts. I even think my leather wheel will have the audio controls in it. Hope we can get those hooked up, too. I don't need bluetooth or the back-up sensor.

I would just reorder the car or step to a 2lt where you get everything.

Leather wheel and shift knob for free. I asked them to hook up the audio controls through the wheel while they install the wheel. The PDIM/USB should cost about $250. Anything more, and I just won't do it. I wasn't jazzed about spending $760 for all of that stuff anyway. I can be hands free while talking on the phone, and play music from my phone, both through the aux input for free.

No 2LT for me. I'm not a fan of paying $1,700 or so for leather. And, although you are probably right... I'm not going to re-order a 1LT. I don't want to spend extra money on back-up sensors that won't look as clean and bluetooth that I don't need. I'm not so sure I'm going to buy the PDIM/USB port for $250. Plus... I'm impatiently waiting, too. Haha.

This is the car that I wanted to buy a month ago. I have to remember why I didn't want the C&C package in the first place. Thanks for your help. It's appreciated.
