I installed a fastlane pipeline intake a couple days ago and at first I was psyched and thought I could feel better performance. Now though after only two days with it I have a check engine light and my friend was watching me do a burn out and said only one tire was spinning? Any clues as to whats going on here? I would appreciate any help thanks..
2SS RS only part put on right now is the Fastlane Pipeline Intake. No $500.00 Tune.

Jannetty Racing did a great write-up and said that they recommend a tune with the fast lane CAI. This would explain the check engine light most likely. To be safe have someone scan the car for the code that tripped the light or get a scanner from a local autoparts store. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...t=jannetty+cai

Since you have a 2SS you can just have OnStar run a diagnostics for free

They can't reset the light but they should have the code that set it off.

The FastLane cai pretty much needs a tune to function without CEL's. i would guess that onstar wont be able to tell you much besides something like "there is a problem with the fuel module controller" or something like that. Since only one tire was spinning, does it still drive normal?

As long as you aren't turning a corner while buring out, both tires should leave black marks.
