Noticed something weird about Camaro Toys...
I just noticed something on my Camaro computer mouse... the gas tank filler is on the upper left quarter panel.
Then I look over at my Camaro die cast car... and it's the same... filler on the upper part of the left hand quarter panel... Does this have something to do with when they were produced? Or who produced them? How many of you have die cast toys with misplaced fillers? Sam |

That is where the concept Camaro had the gas cap so I am guessing the toys are modeled after the concept.

It's not exactly 'misplaced', that just means the toy is modeled on the concept - not production.

Concept had the chrome gas filler cap on the drivers side but cheek like the Challenger has.
