Hey everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I just picked up my new Camaro yesterday and I must say....it was worth the wait.

I live in Toronto, Canada and I ordered my car in the last week of November 2009. My company is a large GM supplier and I ended up factory ordering it under the GM Supplier program. In Canada, the program seems to be a bit better and you basically get the car for 4% above dealer invoice. For my 2LT (non-RS), this amounted to a $2,800 discount off of list. I got the car in Victory Red (cause its the fastest color) and the only option I got on the 2LT was the two black factory stripes down the hood and trunk.

The car finally showed up last week after a 3 month wait and I ended up picking it up yesterday morning. All I can say is....WOW!!! This car is truly amazing. There are so many small little extras on this car that I don't know where to begin. The fit and finish is incredible. Even though I only got the v6, it still goes like hell and sounds great. The standard tranny is smooth as silk and there is no way to describe how you feel while you are sitting in it. Truly awesome!!! Last night I went out for a spin and was totally surprised by the blue LED light stripes on the door panels. Very cool. I even ended up getting lost on the way to the restaurant and one press of the Onstar button and a nice lady told me to relax and downloaded driving directions to the dash. How cool is that?

For those of you who are sitting on the fence and are not sure if you should take the plunge...DO IT!

Good for you man, mine should be here next weekend. hoping for some decent island weather. I ordered Jan.1/10. Im so prepared, It's rediculous, even got the form poured for my new garage 16x20
