Buying an 2LT soon :)
Ok so the 2LT is gonna break my bank but I fell in love with the car ever since it was a concept. I visited couple dealers around Chicago and most of them don't overcharge on the Camaro like they did when it came out. My question is you think i can get a dealer to agree to 400-600$ above invoice on the 2LT? Im a 20 year old buying my first new car and I dont have much experience in this. HELP ME OUT

Why don't you buy the 1LT, then get the C&C package and Boston Acoustic speakers? That will save you almost $2,000. The only things you'll be missing are leather and 1" bigger wheels. And from what I hear, the leather isn't "all that." That's what I did. Except I didn't change my order to the C&C package in time, so I'll have to add my USB and leather wheel/shift knob after the fact. That's not a big problem. But I digress...
Is leather worth $2,000 to you? I doubt it. Get a loaded 1LT.

well the wheels on a 1LT are pretty ugly to be honest. Also dont you get heated leather seats on a 2LT? However you do make a point.

Agreed. That's why I bought the ~$700 bright aluminum 19" wheels. As for the heated seats, I live in sunny California. So that isn't a deal-breaker for me. In Chi-town, you might have to make that decision yourself. But I don't think a pony car needs heated seats.

first of all i live in canada so what i say might not apply to your situation. I talked my dealer to give me a 2100$ (again, CDN$) discount. but they did charge me 499 admin and 296 security reg fee. but 1200 down from MSRP still. Depending on where you live. i live in ottawa so I can guess that not much demand here. anyways, good luck! oh btw mine is a 2LT/RS/SUNROOF/AUTO

Build the car you want on GM's website and that will give you MSRP. Most dealers are at or under MSRP after discounts. I would give Camaro Scotty a call. He is not that far from Chicago and will not screw you over. He has sold many cars to C5 members and helped me with mine. Great guy!

Does pricing depend on where the dealer is located? Because when I build one on the chevy website (2LT RS packacge Accent trim package) I usually get a price of 29,725...including the 850 charge of delivery) it always comes to be cheaper than at dealerships

The destination charge of $850 is included in the MSRP. It doesn't matter if the car is shipping to Hawaii or 10 miles from the plant. Its the same for everycar. Talk with the dealer before ordering to establish pricing concerns. Research for any incentives or discounts you may qualify for and know this in advance of talking to your dealer.
