Just got my replacement unit, and I'm licking my chops to get a Vector upgrade into my car. Wish I could play "guinea pig," but unfortunately I live in Seattle.
Kudos, Kirk...make our cars even more beastly!

I though vararam already brought out the be all end all of intakes. You know the famous "ram air" company.

Funny how you cant take advantage of ram air on the street, as the cars will never go fast enough to actually achieve "ram air".

Since this thread has ZERO to do with whether ram air works or not, I don't see the relevance to your post. If you have a SS AND the VR unit, you're welcome to help Vector out. If not, find another thread to bash the VR unit, as there are plenty out there. If you have anything USEFUL to add to THIS thread, please enlighten us. The affects of ram air has been fuly discussed in previous threads so find something NEW.

Thanks. We started the thread to find a couple Camaros to test the new Vararam "tune only" version of their intake. We will use this information and then can safely supply our customers with the correct calibration for the airflow properties of the intake.

There are plenty of threads debating the "ram air" effect already, we don't need another.

We have tuned well over 600 G8 GT's & GXP's many of which have the Vararam intake on them. Ram air or no ram air, they make excellent power and look cool too

Come on guys, get us a couple stock Camaros!

I wish. I was in Bolder for a wedding last year and love it out there.

We have tuned plenty of G8's & TBSS's in Denver with excellent results. The MAF sensor reads less dense air as less air and fuels correctly.

Great, I will just have to wait until I get my Vararam then. Will you have a tune for the NON -TUNE vararam as well? I am looking at getting the non-tune but getting a Vector tune at some point. I just want to be able to put the stock tune on at anytime as well.

Thanks

We will have a calibration for the "non-tune" Vararam also. We have found that to get the most out of any CAI you need a specific tune for it.

We have CAI specific tunes for the Roto-Fab, Hennessey, Cold Air Inductions, ADM Race & Street, Breathless & New Era systems on LS3 & L99 Camaros. These are all specific calibrations for each.
