Data Logging the V6
This thread will detail my efforts to obtain usable data from real world application of modifications to the V6 Camaro.
Dyno results are fine for comparisons that are done in back to back testing. But, when these mods are "out in the real world", there is very little data provided. I'm hoping to rectify that shortly. I chose the OBDLink scanner and am using a laptop to increase both storage and versatility (and I can edit my HD video with it).  I've setup the laptop with a car mount shown below.   I'll be using the PCMSCAN software for now. I'm still working on a wideband O2 scanner so, this may change in the future. With this setup, I will be able to log and graph real world effects of the modifications made to the V6. That is if I can figure out all the PIDs and what they actually do! hehe! If anyone has or knows of a resource that has saved "dashboards" for this app, lemme know. It's a real pain setting them up!
