Hacker Bricks Cars...ever heard of this system?

Wonder if this is in wide use now or if they only target high-risk borrowers...don't think I like the idea of this gadget in my car...doubt they remove it after the car is paid off.

Depends on the dealer. A lot of dealers around here use something similar. Here they use a device that connects to the starter itself that has it's own phone number. If a customer is late, the dealer can call the device and disable the starter. The device is also capable of calling the dealer in case it malfunctions or is tampered with.

I don't know exactly how this happened, but if I were to have a system like that, I would restrict access to only one computer
