3rd Annual Camaro vs Mustang Showdown - 6/5/10 in Austintown, OH
CAMARO OWNERS & ENTHUSIASTS - YOU'RE INVITED!!!!!!!! When: Saturday, June 5 Time: 10am - 3pm Where: Quaker Steak & Lube in Austintown, OH (Rts I-76 & 46/Niles) Cost: $5 donation per car Co-hosted by: NorthEastern Ohio Camaro Club (NEOCC) & Mahoning Valley Mustangs Some of the finest Camaros and Mustangs of northeastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania will again go head-to-head in the 3rd Annual Camaro vs Mustang Showdown to be held at Quaker Steak & Lube in Austintown, OH. Even with a lot of rain and pretty windy conditions last year, over 150 cars showed up. Though the Mustangs outnumbered us, the real winner was our charity! This year 100% of the profits will be donated to the Mahoning Valley Angels of Easter Seals. This isn't your typical run of the mill car show. Each car will be given a number upon arrival. People will vote for the car(s) they like by giving $1 per vote. The top three (3) cars will win trophies. The NEOCC will pick the best Mustang and the MVM will pick the best Camaro. Additional awards will be picked by the Angels of Easter Seals and the Quaker Steak & Lube. There will also be a DJ, door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, a Chinese Auction and lots of fun for all!!! We hope you'll mark June 5 on your calendars to help the Camaros defend the honor of our favorite car and raise some money for a VERY worthy cause!!!  I assume you'll be coming across 76 from Summit? I will be leaving from Lake Milton. I will try to plan so I can meet up with you guys and follow in with you. |

He originally ordered a Sky Redline then realized (from my coaxing) that wasn't really what he was looking for. (he hates convertibles) so his only options was the GT. Its supercharged and has lots of other goodies. He is having a new differential and Moser axels and "stuff" put on in April along with tweaking the tune so we will have a dyno sheet for the show in June. Last pull was 440 HP at the wheels but that was before some more power upgrades. Est. is 480HP now but not sure if that was corrected or what... It gets dynoed again so we will have hard numbers. The Camaro is only minorly modded, as seen below. I am looking forward to the trip. My dad lives in NE Ohio, I am in SW. I am still considering joining the NEOCC. I attended the meet at Summit last year, infact I am wearing the tee-shirt right now... hehehe... and I was at the Cleveland Auto Show meet. That was a lot of fun! How do I go about joining? |

2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

Unfortunately I think I'm going to bring my mustang driving girlfriend...
Anyway, whats the address to Summitt to meet you there for the lil caravan? I'll be coming from Syracuse, NY (but heading back to Cincinnati, OH so it's on the way)
