Opinions on non halo lights.

planning on getting the Synergy LT1 Camaro but it wont let you include the RS Package. ive read on a couple of threads that the regular headlights look too dim and non as sexy as the halos. are they really that bad? and if so is there a way i can put Halo lights on after i get it? thanks

They look like regular headlights.

The halos don't look "regular," they look awesome, imho.

i dont think that the regular lights make the car look bad, i mean my car doesnt have the rs package and still looks sexy. the cars with the rs package just look a lot meaner, but i dont think that its worth 2 thousand dollars. and yes you can buy halos aftermarket, but it it not the actually rs package headlights.

Halos look 100x better than the regular lights, but since you cant get the RS pack on your car get some aftermarket ones. They dont look as good as the RS ones but they still look cool.

The non-RS lights look and work fine. I like the look of the RS halos, but since I'm driving I can't see them or how cool they look....so you are buying them for someone else to enjoy. The car will attract enough attention whether you have the halos or not, so in my opinion, it wasn't worth the extra money for the halos.

Just looked at the AACStyle site...are the colored halos legal? I have a TX Hwy Patrol that likes to follow me in the morning...I think he is just waiting for me to do something...and I don't want to give him a reason to pull me over...but the red halos look AWESOME!

The fog lights work correctly with the halogens. That extra light down low helps out at night when making sharp turns.

I'd have to agree with this. Had I ordered my car rather than buying off the lot (they had no non-rs cars) I wouldn't have opted for the RS package. I don't think it's worth it for the lights, rims and 'darker' tail lights - which I still fail to see.

Any color other than white or amber is illegal on the front of a moving vehicle.

I have to respectfully disagree with the comment that the aftermarket halos (from AAC, amber in my case) don't look as good as the RS package version. Personally, I think they look even cooler because of the brighter light and variety of colors. Here's a shot of mine...

I didn't want the Halos, I wanted the old school look ! I have HID fog lights that make the car look mean and give the extra light down low that really make a difference.

Mine will be a weekend toy. Don't need the Halos.

If it was my DD, or i lived down south where i could drive it more than 7 months, I'd probably get them just because.
