First car - 2010 camaro, questions.
Okay so I am now the new guy. I am 16 years old and my first car (thanks to my dad) is going to be a 2010 Camaro LS (stick of course). I had a few questions i know you guys can help me with..
What is so different from the LS and the LT, besides the rims and fog lights? Maybe the ambient lighting on the interior? Are there aftermarkets fog lights that can be installed? When it comes to the headlights (instead of the repetitive halos question) are there any types of after market lights that can be installed on the LS trim? If so how much can I expect to pay for them? Lastly, what kind of customization options are there on the aftermarket for an LS? I am not trying to dub it up or put a stupid paint job on it or anything like that, I just want to make a my baseline Camaro stand out in a crowd filled with Z28s and RS packages. Thanks for any feedback or answers guys. |

Other than the wheels, fog lights, power driver seat, and a couple of options that you can order, they're pretty much the same car.
I'm guessing after market fog lights can be installed with a little work. You'd have to cut the plugs in the fascia and do a little wiring and possibly a little metal work (to hold the lights in place), but I'm sure it could be done. Yep, sure are after-market headlights. I've seen a couple people on here who've done a swap. Depending on the type of lights you get. I'm guessing you want halos, which can run anywhere from $300-$1200 (just depends on the light itself). Right now, I know there are a few spoilers for the LS. You could always put a body wrap or graphics on it (RiderGraphix has some pretty cool ones), get some new wheels (not what I'd personally do since I like the heritage wheels), and maybe a new exhaust and cold air intake. You can mod it as much as you could an LT.

Your appearance mod options for the car are endless. Just because it's an LS there isn't any restrictions to the appearance. You just need to do some search's & take a look in the appearance section here, I'm sure that would give you plenty of ideas & options.
