Vandalism....

So I was at work today and I came out to my car to find that somebody spit their gum onto the roof above my driver's side door. I was able to clean it off with some quick detailer. After I got it off I put a new coat of wax over the area. You can't tell that it was ever there but it just really bothers me that somebody can disrespect somebody else's property like that. It makes me wonder if they have something else up their sleeve (keying, etc.). I honestly thought that the customers at work had some form of respect for my car since I've been parking it in the same area for 9 months now with no problems at all. I work at a gas station so there's hundreds of different cars pulling in all night so it was only matter of time I guess. My previous car was keyed all over the hood but nobody ever messed with the Camaro until today. My boss is going to check the security cameras tomorrow morning to see if she can find out who did it. When I find out how did it:

Does anybody know if there's anything else, other that waxing, I should do to the area where the gum was?

you have no idea who it was. What if it was some 4 yr old that spit out their gum while in the back of their parents SUV. Accidents happen to ya know. I think you should find out who it was first before jumping to conclusions.

Ever time something like this happens, which it has several times in my life. I always use the saying the haves and have nots. We work to pay our bills and get ahead in life, then there are those that feel the world owes them because they can breath. The can not and will not ever make their life any better unless they can get ssi or win the lotto. Heck I even had all my converters stolen off of all my work trucks. Two fifty year old guys with a cordless sawzall. They got busted in another town but by then they hit at least 5 companies and 2 side streets that I know of. There will always be losers out there just take it with a grain of salt and go buy something else or go to dinner and tell your self they will never be able to do this and laugh.

One should try to give someone the benefit of the doubt, otherwise, little stuff like this just sets you off.

I remember when I was younger me and my cousin were in a parking lot, waiting for his dad to come out, but we were given some of those wax cola bottles, so you had to bite the tops off, so you could drink the liquid inside.

Well my cousin spit the top off and it landed on the ladys car next to us. When she came out she saw it was like "WHAT is this"

She said nothing, brushed it off the car, and went about her day.

I work in retail so I'm afraid to park my car at work! My mom bikes to work during the summer and hates drivin in the snow. So we car pool to work alot. I drive a lil 2008 Pontiac G5 to work everyday. My mom doesn't mind since I co-signed for her car loan since she doesn't have enough income working part-time.
