What for? You can already create an icon on your home screen that jumps right to a web page... have it shoot for User CP or New Posts and you're set.

I was thinking about doing this, but there isn't any kind of API to plug it into.

I think this has been asked multiple times and the outcome is that we want it but nobody actually codes one.

I can start on one by the end of this year (I haven't taken Object Oriented Programming yet - which you need to take to make iPhone apps). Why don't you guys start putting some ideas together & I'll look into learning the language. Computer Science major at the University of West Florida.
